Sydney

So I got to syd on friday night. Thomas met up with me, we tried to find a place to eat. Japanese we decided, so went to yuki restaurant. Thomas's gf met up with us there too, and after a tiring walk all the way up george st (with thomas taking a leak at 5star hotel), finally found the restaurant. Its in circular quay with a good view cos its right opposite the opera house! So this is my view as i looked out the window from where i was eating:

And thomas's gf and me

I wanted to take more pics of the real expensive jap food i have (3 of us ate $247 that night, i treated them...) but this tofu (which was awesome)...looks beautiful too...

After that awesome dinner me and thomas walked over the syd bridge at like 10pm at night to find Penny and her BF. Its a nice walk - i wish i could go running there!!! beautiful. But anyway- we got there, and they took me to this viewpoint there and i took some nice photos of again the opera house from another angle and the bridge. I posted those images already in the last post but here's some images of the city at night.

After that thomas took me looking ard the clubs. We tried to get into this nice club but it charged $20 so we left after queining in the line! ANd then thomse took me to where he hanged out in 1st yr and 2nd year, places where he picked up chicks and have drinks and play pool. Those are ok palces - the 2nd place is not too bad. We wanted to go up the skylounge to have drinks but they clsoe at 12am so....yea we didn't make it. After that we went home and slept by ard 2am.

The next day we went to syd university. Its pretty nice - much better than university of auckland. Much bigger too. Thomas went to his meeting and his gf took me ard. This is me at the entrance

Medicine building

The beautiful Quad

The interesting Graffiti Tunnel

After that we took a walk thru newtown, nice place with lots of food places and small interesting shops.

Then i went to rebel sports to buy some shorts, andwalked thru china town again. Hilarious koreans shouting 50% off for ....morning glory....@__@ they are all over the place!!! and stupid them just have to be in my photo...i mean....its jus cute stationary...they must be desperate! They pull customers too!! my god

after which i walked to darling harbour.

and visited the place i used to perform when i came here with concert band for 1 week in form4

Then i went window shopping in harbourside shopping centre, only to get interested in this $330 blazer...@___@
I tried it on!! (no, no pictureS)

I passed by King st Wharf, the place i had nice malaysia food last week. Look at the pic below, its the 2nd place from the right, looking directly into the ships in wharf. nice...

I walked to the rocks after that. I went there last week with thomas, he showed me this place with nice props (chairs and stuff) where apaprently jack took lots of photos. I wanted to find it again but i got lost so i spent ages walking up hills and stuff...eventually i got tired and decided to give my wallet-muscle a work out instead, walking into a shop with 50% discount. Spent 30min in there, only to buy a tshirt. I then walked to circular quay, taking pic of opera house (finally) in the day time

And the cityline again

Circular quay was pretty busy with tourists and people performing, such a lively place! I really feel vibrant walking thru these places, with lots of pple ard and enjoying life

I then walked around the opera house for a bit, then went to botanical garden.

Its a nice place. I was walking along leisurely, to McQuarie's chair. Its actually pretty far away, all the way to the left in the photo above (which only shows half way). So I got there, took the photo, but the sun was shining rite at me!! so photo was crap, too much exposure...So i walked back, and by the time i walked bk to the middle gardens, i noticed that the sun has gone down some, so i decided after much internal debate to go back and take another nice photo of the opera house together with the bridge. So off i went, and when i got there, the stupid sun was JUST in the corner of the picture so i was only able to take this pic

Which is still kinda crappy. OH well, i'll remember to go to MRs McQuarie's chair earlier next time! Oh yea here's the chair:

Right, so this brings me to about 5:30pm on Saturday. Walking in the park so much...

Anyway i'm quite tired now so i'll continue my photo blog nxt time eh? = ) abt the rest of the weekend

I've just spent my whole afternoon blogging, you pple betta appreciate it!!! =P
