Tired again
I get tired so easily.
Woke up at 7 for the 8am ward round today which didn't happen till 9am. It just finished. It wasn't too bad except for my inept abilities to examine pple. I duno, its not that i dun noe HOW to...but somehow under the observational pressure of consultants and the other team members all i can say is " its normal" instead of describing what i heard and what i think it is.
I blame my brain for not being switched on. In fact its 3 hrs since i woke up and i m still thinking how im gona sleep and when i m gona sleep next (which is in 10min time cos i'm heading back for a snooze before going bk to chat to patients)
MUST MAKE MYSELF WORK....
And man! its not a hot day today, but under that observational pressure i sweat like a pig! my shirt nearly got soaked! embarrassing...
Oh i fell down on my bum today cos i slipped when i stepped on this white slab when i was walking to work. Kinda like how mum slipped when she was in china, but yea...lucky i'm not some old woman and i can still walk.
Lots of work to do...lots of sleep to catch up on...guess i'll type later...
I had been really enjoying the last few days - hanging out wif my brother and his gf.
Actually i'll just give a brief account of the weekend b4 i go.
Friday - bro picked me up from my flat, went to that pretty lake which i showed u guys last yr. Then we drive to cambridge to top up fuel and buy pies. Went to matamata to visit the lord of the rings hobbiton set. IT was cool. Finally was able to take my bro's gf to a place where she asked to go. Drove home and had a big dinner at the steamboat place by our house...nice. Got home, and fell asleep like immediately. I was kinda sick and tired.
Anyways on saturday, we looked ard town for cars and did some shopping ard auckland -t mark in newmarket, and then foodtown in st lukes. Bought lots of stuff to take down here. Hhehe...i think i'm a supermarket shoppaholic- i mean i c things in there and i decide i need them (cos you wILL use things at home rite? and other ppl use too so its not a waste...not like buying clotheS). Had hongkongnese milk tea and toast+condensed milk+butter at Happy Valley in newmarket. Apparently bro said its very hongkongese style! I thot happy valley was jus some kind of convienent asian shop...but gives me a new perspective - it DOES have interesting stuff...i just never noticed!! Got home, mum made big big dinner, then we went out to vivi's house to pick up guns. (yea, she's the eastern gun supplier, K14 used to buy from her until she got obsessed wif black magic) anyway dropped mum off at jim's house, went to vivi's den, then drove ard eastern beach, went to meadowlands to look ard for a place to drink except it was mostly closed except for bars, drove past botany downs, bro drove wrong way so we ended up driving along te irirangi drive all the way to manukau b4 gettign on the motorway back to remuera again. Went to chat to jim for a bit then came home. Me and bro then continued playing Grand Theft Auto till like 4am...nice game. Very funny too...
