Interns
Just watched Interns which was taped from Monday. Seeing Loretta taking the drains out and the pain the patient was in - that kind of stuff happens all the time! I hate it when I go to the doctors and all they wana do is to prod around and make me hurt - and now we all seem to be doing that all the time - like poking them with needles and making them move even if they are in pain, feeling ard the tummy for pain etc. I've been told that we should do it and get it over and done with because if we don't we are not doing them any good anyway...
Saw Vaughn on Tv today - he was our Orthopaedic reg in the team I was in jus last week for ortho. Cool eh - seeing someone you know for real on TV. Oh i know i've seen gareth around before, Loretta was my house officer for 1 week, and I met Jason briefly while i was in ED and he's a classmate's ex anyway. They also all managed to get on the surgical training scheme - both of them were determined to get it and they got did get on the BST. I know that's probably the supposedly "easy" part in the whole process - but as they were saying, only 3osometihng outta 70 got in - like 50%~!!! depressing future...wish i was as driven as that.
Seems like everyone is gona be studying in the holidays coming up. All I wana do is sleep. I only just woke up before dinner actually after sleeping the whole afternoon. Sometimes I think I just sleep my so called youth away...
Seems like that's the only way I can achieve my dreams....................
