Tulip that my mum planted. It is so pretty. So full of hope. A new flower showing its face to the world, just about ready to be seen, nearly becoming the most beautiful it can ever be. I can start to see why mum invests so much of her free time and energy into gardening, and why she enjoys it so much. Why she can still do gardening in the rain, in the big wind, in temperatures below 15deg, in the middle of the cold winter, in the dark....and she says that time passes so fast. I guess its a attractive world for her - one where you can see the beauty and success in the form of these pretty flowers. And yes - this is a flower that mum planted - pretty eh. Appreciation of such beautiful flowers is one thing - but the other is to acknowlege the hardwork behind such a success. The careful watering, potting, buying the correct soil, digging, shifting it to max sunlight - all the things which mum do al lthe time while i stay inside and use the computer. Its all the little things like this that i should appreciate, but most of the time - i take it for granted. I need to learn how to vent my frustrations away from my house...at other things away from home... Anyways mum says more flowers are about to blossom - i will endeaver to capture their beauty as best i can and post them up...
